College football rankings: Florida Gators enter both top 25 polls after Week 1 win

After being unranked in the preseason editions of both college football rankings, the Florida Gators have entered both polls following a 53-6 dismantling of Charleston Southern on Saturday.

The Week 1 edition of the polls were released Tuesday with Florida now ranked No. 25 in both the AP Top 25 and Coaches Poll. The Gators received 89 votes in the AP Top 25 (36 below No. 24) and 138 votes in the Coaches Poll (51 back). UF received votes in both polls during the preseason but were previously unable to crank the rankings.
