The Florida Gators appear to be in the midst of building the nation’s best incoming offensive line class with another commitment nearly rounding out the unit. Four-star offensive tackle Kennedee Jackson (Lithonia, GA) pledge to the Gators on Tuesday, becoming the fourth blue-chip prospect to join the unit under first-year coach Phil Trautwein.
Jackson (6-foot-6, 297 pounds) is ranked No. 122 nationally, per 247Sports. He committed to Florida over Georgia, LSU and other programs.
Five-star OT Maxwell Hiller (Coatesville, PA) leads the groundbreaking class with four-stars Elijah Hutcheson (Roanoke, VA) and Peyton Miller (Anna, TX) joining the duo with all four ranked among the top 135 prospects in the nation, per the 247Sports Composite.
Hiller is the No. 3 overall player in the nation, and offensive linemen make up four of UF’s top seven pledges this cycle.
Florida has subsequently moved up to No. 3 in the 247Sports Composite team rankings, trailing only Oklahoma and Texas A&M. That’s despite the Gators having at least two fewer five-star commitments than any of the other top four teams in the country.
