Florida Gators head coach Jon Sumrall has continued making moves building the Class of 2027 over the last few days, locking up not one or two but three verbal commitments surrounding the 2026 NFL Draft. Four-stars wide receiver Anthony Jennings (Fort Lauderdale, FL) and center Peyton Miller (Anna, TX) each pledged to the Gators on Saturday and Monday, respectively, with three-star defensive lineman De’Voun Kendrick (Tampa, FL) joining the haul.
Jennings (6-foot, 165 pounds) committed to Florida over Auburn, Florida State and Georgia, among other top contenders. He is ranked No. 273 overall, per the 247Sports Composite, which considers him the 34th best wideout in the nation.
Miller (6-foot-5, 290 pounds) is considered by many to be the nation’s best center. A player who is close to UF five-star offensive tackle commitment Maxwell Hiller (Coatesville, PA), he is ranked No. 124 overall per the 247Sports Composite, committing to Florida over Clemson, SMU, Texas and Texas Tech, among others.
Kendrick (6-foot-4, 275 pounds) is a less-heralded signee, but many believe he could show out during his senior season. A longtime Gators fan, he committed to Florida over Georgia Tech and Louisville.
With 10 verbal commitments in tow, the Gators are now ranked No. 9 nationally in the 247Sports team rankings. Every program ahead of it has more pledges at this juncture.
