OGGOA REVIEW: I’ve had the opportunity to review dozens of products since beginning this website but the Florida digital photo frame from ColorShout is undoubtedly my favorite to date. Aside from the fact that it is the only digital frame on the market that is officially licensed to use the Gators’ logos and university’s colors, it is also preloaded with 10 high-quality campus photos as well as the UF fight song to get you started.

Loading your own photos is easy as you can transfer them directly to the internal memory (2GB of space) or insert a SD/MMC/MS/XD card if that is easier for you (or you wish to increase the capacity). The 8-inch LCD screen and 800×600 resolution makes your pictures look sharp and really shows their quality.

Not only does the frame show photos both one at a time or in slideshow format, it also plays music and videos with some solid built-in stereo speakers. You can stand it up on a desk or mount it on your wall, and it serves other purposes as well with a built-in clock, calendar, alarm and ebook reader. Best of all – it comes with a remote control so you can change pictures, songs or videos from a distance!

It is a great gift for current students, recent graduates and alumni, makes a solid Father’s Day present and will put a smile on anyone’s face. If giving it as a gift, you can even load some additional photos before wrapping it up to make it extra special.
