Former Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow took some time out from his private visits with NFL teams to be a guest speaker at Lipscomb University over the weekend. Below is a portion of his speech…which certainly cost the school a pretty penny.

  1. Daniel M. says:

So God was actually talking to you Tim? Did he call or text?

    (((((shudder))))

Sorry dude, I don’t sign off on that

  2. GatorFa says:

ah Daniel M…Here’s a man speaking from the heart about something he has conviction about…He’s trying to help others…look at yourself first, then worry about others!

  3. Brandi says:

God doesn’t talk to us via text, call, e-mail, or letter. He talks through His word the Bible. That is where tebow got his verse.

  4. Mr2Bits says:

    Dan,
Not really sure what your all fussed up about. Tebow runs the same game at his speeches, God and his faith. Wasn’t expecting him to put on a rock concert were ya?

  5. Pastors Son says:

Dan, I am sorry you are upset about this speech, but this
was an awesome way of getting Gods message across to others. Tim
Tebow is a awesome Christian and a great idol for those who are not
following Christ, and no I am not saying this because I am a fan of
the Gators, I am a Bama fan all the way from the day I was born.
God used who ever sent him the text to let him know what needed to
be known. Thats how God works you know? And I agree with GatorFa,
God said in Matthew 7:3 to examine yourself first before you begin
condemning others! (Matthew 7:3 – – “Why do you look at the speck
of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank
in your own eye? God Bless
