The Gators couldn’t of asked for a better schedule in the first four weeks for a young team that’s in transition. The first two games were confidence builders, the third game of the season was a challenge to see exactly where the Gators were. This game is on the road against a team where the Gators can work on and correct the mistakes they’ve been committing without the urgency they will have to play with next week. This team will be prepared from all angles for Alabama, plus Gators will have the intangles I.e. Home field, night game, game day, should be exciting! But first thing first, take one game at a time, I know.

I really like the players on this Gator team. I want to see John Brantley succeed this year and would like to see him connect with some down field passes instead of just managing the game. He has definitely improved under Coach Weis so hopefully his deep passing will also. I know a lot of people have written off the Gators this year so here’s hoping we’ll surprise them by having a great season. We have a lot of talent on this team and I believe Trey Burton is one player who I believe is going to contribute to the success of the Gators.
