As the University Athletic Association progresses through a massive renovation to the athletic facilities for Florida Gators football, the team on Monday — ahead of its appearance at the 2019 SEC Media Days — released a first look at the locker rooms the team will use for the 2019 season and beyond. It is the first renovation to the facility in a decade.

Named the Bryan Kornblau Locker Room, the $1.5 million space will serve as the primary home of Gators football until the program’s $85 million standalone facility is complete, at which point it will become the gameday locker room.

The locker room was refinished from top to bottom with eye-catching graphics, neon lighting and technological updates along with new lockers and fresh carpeting. It also includes some recliners, televisions and video game systems, and the players’ lounge was upgraded as well. The project began in late April and was completed in less than 90 days.
