Former Florida Gators in the NFL: Week 13 (2013)

The 2013 NFL regular season continued this week with 33 former Florida Gators spread out over 21 teams.

Eleven teams have multiple Florida players on their respective rosters including Miami (four); Washington (three); Baltimore, Chicago, Cincinnati, Denver, Jacksonville, N.Y. Giants, N.Y. Jets and Pittsburgh (two).

Below are full game statistics for all 23 active players that participated this week along with select news updates on a number of Gators for the 13th week of the regular season.

S WILL HILL, New York Giants: Started | seven tackles (four solo, one for loss), pass defense, forced and recovered fumble
» On a fourth down completion with 1:27 remaining in the fourth quarter, Hill stripped and recovered the ball off Pierre Garçon to effectively end the game.

LB JON BOSTIC, Chicago Bears*: Started | nine tackles (five solo, one for loss), sack, QB hit
» After making a crucial stop for his team on 3rd-and-6 at the Chicago 14 with early in the fourth quarter, Bostic was flagged for taunting. It did not wind up hurting the Bears, however, as they picked up an interception two plays later.

» Haden was emotional after allowing the game-winning touchdown on Sunday. He said the following to reporters. (The second half of his comments can be found in the video). “We f*ckin’ can’t stand losing. It hurts. To go out there, put my f*ckin’ heart out there every time, every time. And we end up coming up short. It was my fault right there on the touchdown. He ran a good route, good play, good offense, you know what I’m sayin’?”
