Gators remain unranked after easy win Saturday

The Florida Gators (7-4, 4-4 SEC) were knocked out of the top 25 polls for the first time under head coach Urban Meyer a few weeks ago after losing at home to Mississippi State. Back-to-back wins against Georgia in Jacksonville, FL, and Vanderbilt on the road saw Florida earn a spot back in all three polls two weeks ago, but Florida found themselves on the outside looking in once again after losing to South Carolina last week. Though the Gators did defeat the Appalachian State Mountaineers (9-1) on Saturday, the win was certainly not enough to vault them back into the rankings.

don’t be surprised if we fall apart this week. FSU is bad, but we may be worse. We have not beaten a ranked team this year.

  2. g8ter27 says:

I just hopewe don’t go back to JB at qb the whole gme and tryingtothrow 2 yard passes. Was so hopefulofater Vandy only to to see us revert back to the stone ages for SC. We need this win to build on next year!

  3. JAMESORLANDO says:

please let’s win the next two games FSU and the bowl game, the ranking will take care of itself, esp FSU and bowl game opponent most likely will be ranked.

  4. npgator says:

As I said last week we will win out and go 9 -4 for the season.
