Six days ago, four-star tight end recruit
According to multiple reports, Leonard was involved in an altercation and perhaps other incidents during a game last Friday. Becoming increasingly frustrated after having two touchdowns called back due to penalties, he reportedly “took a swing” at an opposing player, this according to the Orlando Sentinel‘s Chris Hays, who spoke with said player’s head coach.
“Leonard, however, must have had prior altercations or questionable conduct for the FHSAA to come down so hard on the star athlete,” the Sentinel reported though it was unable to provide specifics.

Sounds like he is not worth the risk. we have had to much trouble already
Sounds like a similar situation to Percy Harvin’s senior year in high school. I hope AC can learn from this and grow to become a better student athlete, whether it be at UF or elsewhere.
Really? When it rains, it pours for the Gator Nation.
I agree that it sounds like Harvin’s situation and look how he turned out.
He’s had a busy week…

1% of the 1%. go gators!
It’s a 6 game suspension according to the FHSAA this year and a fine. I belive $250.
Also, heard a HS head coach yesterday that he only committed to get the UF coaches off his back and that on signing day he’ll be a Cane. We’ll see.
Why wouldn’t he just commit to Miami then? That makes no sense. His next team was Alabama.
I like it, bring on the energy
Even with potential Gators we are being taken on an emotional roller coaster. Let’s hope for the best. Whatever that means.
Looks like Latwan Anderson has left UM’s football program. It’s probably too early to speculate on where this guy will transfer to,(guess there’s a chance he stays at UM to run track), but is there any chance this guy ends up in Gainesville? Does anyone know what rules are in place with regard to contacting a scholarship athlete who may be interested in transferring?
The request to transfer has to first be granted. Then the school has the ability to put restrictions on where he goes (Miami does this often). After those hurdles and a certain period of time, theoretically, he can be contacted.
As far as I can remember, the Florida schools pretty much always restricts to teams other then other Florida teams, for the big 3 at least.
I think that Leonard and Driskell will be a leathal combination in the future.
