No. 11 Florida Gators football has seen a lot go its way in recent weeks, but it will not be able to avoid a night game in Death Valley on Oct. 17 when it travels to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to face the No. 7 LSU Tigers.

With CBS choosing Alabama at Texas A&M (3:30 p.m.) over the cross-division rivalry, Florida at LSU will be played at 7 p.m. ET and air live nationally on ESPN.

The Tigers are 4-1 against the Gators dating back to 2010 and hold an 8-5 record over UF since 2002. Prior to that, Florida won 13 of 14 games from 1988-2001. LSU is also 4-1 against UF in Baton Rouge dating back to 2005 and will be hosting its cross-division rivals in a night game at Tiger Stadium for the first time since 2009.

Before the teams get to what should be an epic showdown, both will be on the road with Florida taking on Missouri and LSU facing South Carolina. The Gators will be playing three consecutive games away from home with Georgia looming two weeks later in Jacksonville, Florida (3:30 p.m. CBS).
