Saturday was a good day at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium for the Florida Gators football team, but it all began with the 2006-07 back-to-back championship-winning basketball team being honored on the field.
Considering the way Florida dominated the Kentucky Wildcats back then, the venue and timing was appropriate, especially as former head coach Billy Donovan and most of the players could attend.
Joining Donovan and his assistant coaches in attendance were Joakim Noah, Al Horford, Corey Brewer, Lee Humphrey, Chris Richard and others. Taurean Green and Adrian Moss (2005-06) could not make it, though Noah honored Moss by wearing his jersey.
In addition to being honored before the game, the players performed as a group as the honorary Mr. Two-Bits.
