Many believe the No. 8 Florida Gators are on their way to closing the gap in the Southeastern Conference, and if that is to be the case, it is going to start with a talented roster. The recently-recruited Class of 2019 has taken a bit of a hit, as have Florida’s overall scholarship numbers, but the Gators are looking to make big gains on the field this season nonetheless.

With the coaches’ 2019 Preseason All-SEC teams released this week and All-America teams trickling out, we are beginning to see how the Gators are viewed both locally and nationally. Let’s take a look at which Florida players have garnered Preseason All-SEC from the coaches and media ahead of the 2019 season.

Junior cornerback C.J. Henderson: First team (coaches, media)

Redshirt senior defensive lineman Jabari Zuniga: First team (media), second team (coaches)

Senior running back Lamical Perine: Second team (coaches, media)

Senior linebacker David Reese II: Second team (coaches, media)

Sophomore kicker Evan McPherson: Second team (coaches, media)

Redshirt senior punter Tommy Townsend: Second team (coaches, media)
