With the 2019 season kicking off in a matter of weeks, the Florida Gators on Wednesday released the program’s entire 2020 schedule. With no notable games on the slate, the announcement is relatively mundane other than to note that the program will begin campaign with three straight home games.
Saturday, Sept. 5 — Eastern Washington
Saturday, Sept. 12 — Kentucky
Saturday, Sept. 19 — Southern Alabama
Saturday, Sept. 26 — at Tennessee
Saturday, Oct. 3 — South Carolina
Saturday, Oct. 10 — LSU
Saturday, Oct. 17 — at Ole Miss
Saturday, Oct. 24 — BYE
Saturday, Oct. 31 — Georgia (Jacksonville, Florida)
Saturday, Nov. 7 — at Vanderbilt
Saturday, Nov. 14 — Missouri
Saturday, Nov. 21 — New Mexico State
Saturday, Nov. 28 — at Florida State
The consequence of those three straight home games — with five of UF’s first six occurring inside Ben Hill Griffin Stadium — to open the campaign is an early homecoming (likely against LSU on Oct. 10). The Gators will not play a game at home between Oct. 10 and Nov. 14, covering a span of 35 due to their bye week and neutral-site affair against the Bulldogs being bookended by road contests.
Florida has not faced Ole Miss since 2015 and will play in Oxford, Mississippi, for the first time since 2007.
