New Florida Gators head coach Jim McElwain – and a trio of players – will take center stage in Hoover, Alabama, on Monday at the 2015 SEC Media Days.

Florida will be one of the first three teams featured in the event, joining Auburn and Vanderbilt on Monday’s schedule. Live coverage will be offered from 12:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on SEC Network both on television and online (all times Eastern).

The event will open with new Southeastern Conference commissioner Greg Sankey addressing the gathered media at 12:30 p.m.

The Tigers will then begin going through the motions, followed by the Gators at 3:30 p.m.

Prior to UF taking the main podium, McElwain will do a live hit on ESPN‘s SportsCenter at approximately 1:45 p.m. and another on the network’s College Football Live in the early portion of the show at 2 p.m. He will also do a hit with Paul Finebaum at 5:30 p.m.

Representing Florida in Hoover will be senior defensive end Jonathan Bullard, junior cornerback Vernon Hargreaves III and sophomore wide receiver Brandon Powell, a McElwain favorite who is expected to be on of UF’s featured playmakers in 2015.

Expect to hear plenty about the Gators’ stellar secondary and thriving defense and an equal amount about Florida’s offensive concerns and depth issues, especially along the offensive line. It will also be interesting to observe McElwain’s first opportunity to sell the program to an SEC audience, especially to see whether he will continue repeating his offseason mantras or take a new direction with the season about to begin.

On Tuesday, SEC coordinator of football officials Steve Shaw will lead things off at 9:30 a.m. South Carolina, Texas A&M, Mississippi State and Tennessee will then be featured, in that order. Alabama, Kentucky, Missouri and Arkansas will take their turns on Wednesday, followed by Georgia, Ole Miss, and LSU on Thursday.

Dari Nowkhah and Joe Tessitore will anchor coverage for SEC Network with Greg McElroy, Booger McFarland and Marcus Spears in attendance. Paul Finebaum’s radio show will serve as the primary vehicle for non-press conference interviews.

OnlyGators.com will provide updates throughout the day on Twitter with a complete wrap-up coming Monday night at the conclusion of the day’s festivities.
