Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah and Minnesota Timberwolves guard Corey Brewer will be making their triumphant return (along with a few former teammates) to the University of Florida and the Stephen C. O’Connell Center…at least for three days this summer.
The two members of the Florida Gators’ back-to-back men’s basketball National Championship teams will host The Back 2 Back Youth Basketball Camp powered by Five Star Basketball in Gainesville, FL, from July 26-28.
Find out more about the camp and Brewer’s thoughts on it…after the break!
Here are some of the specifics:
Times: July 26-28 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Participants: Boys and girls ages 9-18
Activities: Basketball drills, five-on-five games, contests, educational sessions, player evaluations, lectures and much more
Extras: Lunch, T-shirt, photo with the players, awards, etc.
Cost: $299 per camper
Noah and Brewer will donate all proceeds to Shands Children’s Hospital at UF and the “Corey Brewer Fight Diabetes Fund,” both benefiting the school’s medical center.
“I am looking forward to having our first basketball camp in Gainesville,” Brewer told The Gainesville Sun. “We wanted to start this camp with Five Star Basketball to teach kids some of the things we learned in the pros.”
