With one final hire made on Thursday, Florida Gators head coach Dan Mullen has finally hired the 10 assistants necessary to fill out his first coaching staff since rejoining UF. As such, Florida finally announced official titles for those assistants, which can be found below.

Todd Grantham — Defensive coordinator
Billy Gonzales – Co-Offensive coordinator, wide receivers
John Hevesy – Co-Offensive coordinator, offensive line
Greg Knox — Special teams coordinator, running backs
Brian Johnson — Quarterbacks
Ja’Juan Seider — Tight ends
Sal Sunseri — Defensive line
Christian Robinson — Linebackers
Charlton Warren — Cornerbacks
Ron English — Safeties

Nick Savage — Director of strength & conditioning

English, the last hire, is the former Eastern Michigan head coach who has spent nearly 25 years coaching college football. He was previously a defensive coordinator at Michigan (2003-07), Louisville (2008) and San Jose State (2016) who spent last season in the same position at Mississippi State under Mullen and Grantham. He will split secondary duties with Warren, an interesting development at a key position for Florida football.

It is worth noting that the coaching staff is split down the middle (five offense, five defense) though there’s much greater specialization on the defensive side of the ball with Grantham not coaching a specific position group. Similarly, Knox will be spread between coaching running backs and leading the special teams. Gonzales and Hevesy have long held their respective positions under Mullen.
