LISTEN: Mick Hubert loses his mind as Florida stops LSU cold with goal-line stand
Football

The Voice of the Gators, Mick Hurbert has called nearly every great moment in Florida Gators football history. In what is already being billed as one of the best road victories Florida football has ever put together, Hubert’s call of the game’s final play is an absolute must-listen.

First, the situation. The Gators took a 16-10 lead late in the fourth quarter but allowed the LSU Tigers to drive all the way down the field on the final possession of the game. Facing a fourth-and-goal from the one-yard line, Florida needed a stop to clinch the SEC East title for the second-straight season and advance to the SEC Championship Game.

And now, here’s Mick.

Oh my, indeed.

Florida vs LSU, NOV 19, 2016 at Dealth Valley. An epic game…one for the annals of college football. Such an interesting story line for both opponents with competing results for the winner.

Mick Hubert is the worst play-by-play announcer in UF history. It sounded like he was having a stroke on that call.

Otis Boggs and David Steele were infinitely better than Hubert…and Mick stole “OH MY!” from the legendary NBC announcer Dick Enberg.

Great game, great goal line stand, horrible call.

    Go Gators nonetheless.
