With just a few months to go until the Florida Gators return to the hardwood, the Southeastern Conference recently announced its entire basketball schedule for the 2018-19 season. With that announcement, UF’s slate is almost complete as it awaits one more opponent to be confirmed for the annual Orange Bowl Basketball Classic in December.

Florida will open the SEC portion of its campaign against South Carolina and end the season on the road at Kentucky. In total, the Gators will have five Saturday league games at home, which will be nice for fans but not much consolation for a February stretch in which the Gators will play four out of five games on the road.

The basketball team will begin practice on Friday, Sept. 28. Game times and television assignments will be released at a later date.

Let’s take a look at how it breaks down with every game for the campaign now set.
