Four former Florida Gators were named to the 2017 Pro Bowl on Tuesday, marking the most for the program in recent history.

Pittsburgh Steelers center Maurkice Pouncey, Oakland Raiders safety Reggie Nelson, New York Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins and Washington tight end Jordan Reed all received nods to the game.

Pouncey is now a five-time Pro Bowler with either he or his brother Mike Pouncey of the Miami Dolphins combining for eight Pro Bowls; at least one brother has been in the game in seven straight seasons dating back to 2010.

Nelson heads to a Pro Bowl for the second straight season, while Jenkins (the only starter this year) and Reed will both be making their first appearances.

Reed’s actually had a down season for Washington with 646 yards and five touchdowns (he finished with 11 last season). Nelson is also down from a year ago but still impressing with 45 taackles, four interceptions and two fumble recoveries. Jenkins, however, has played lock down defense all season with three picks, a forced fumble and a career-high 17 pass defenses with a couple games still left to go.
