Florida Gators QB Tim Tebow returns to SEC Network as ‘SEC Nation’ analyst

Though former Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow‘s time with the Philadelphia Eagles was relatively short-lived, he will not be out of the public eye for long.

Tebow has rejoined SEC Network as a featured analyst on its College GameDay-esque Saturday show, SEC Nation, a role he held throughout the 2014 season while he sat on the sidelines as an NFL free agent.

“Tim quickly developed into an excellent analyst last year, and we were not shy about acknowledging his home at ESPN should he be available to return,” said ESPN executive vice president John Wildhack in a release from the network.

Tebow was hired by ESPN on Dec. 30, 2013, signing a three-year deal with to serve as a college football analyst for the company.

He spent his first year working primarily on SEC Nation but also served as an analyst leading up to and during the College Football Playoff. He signed up with ABC’s Good Morning America last September, a role he will likely reprise at some point this fall.

Tebow will have a long career in broadcasting whenever his playing career is officially over. That may be the case already, as Eagles head coach Chip Kelly referred to Tebow as simply “not good enough” when asked why he released him during final cuts.
