FOUR (Video) BITS: Wambach’s edge, Madison’s chomp, Tebow’s pass, Cooper’s catch

» Former Florida Gators and current U.S. Women’s National Team striker Abby Wambach recently allowed Gatorade to film an Inside the Edge segment with her as she trained for and played in a Women’s Professional Soccer game with the magicJack. Wambach, who is a starter and the temporary coach for the team, went through her daily regimen and spoke about what it takes to prepare day-in and day-out. Check it out:

» Promoting a the new movie Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, 11-year-old actress Bailee Madison proved she may be the cutest Florida fan in Hollywood after she performed the Gator Chomp while telling a story during an interview with the unfunny, bit-stealing host. In order to reduce your pain in watching a Leno interview, OGGOA was able to cut the segment down to just a few seconds. Thanks to reader Craig S. for the heads-up (especially considering this television program is prohibited from being watched at OGGOA headquarters).

» Perhaps trying a bit too hard and trying to make something out of absolutely nothing, Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow performed this doozy (click) during his team’s first preseason game. Tebow ended up playing great (6/7 for 91 yards), but he should have known better than to continue that play after stepping over the line of scrimmage. Here was his best pass of the night, a really nice 43-yard bomb:

» Involved in a similar play of more than 40 yards recently was Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Riley Cooper, who broke off a either a blocking assignment or flat pattern to streak down field and catch this gem from QB Michael Vick. Cooper’s days as a pass catcher for another scrambling quarterback (Tebow) might pay dividends in Philadelphia’s offense going forward. Though Cooper limped off at the end of the play, he was just shaken up and appears to be just fine.
