Florida football recruiting: Gators nab 2020 athlete Fenley Graham

A strong recruiting weekend has continued into Monday as the Florida Gators received a verbal commitment at the start of the week from three-star athlete Fenley Graham (Lakeland, FL). Graham is considered an electric athlete who should help Florida both in the defensive backfield and on special teams.

“Thanks to coach Mullen and the rest of the staff on giving me a chance to become the next best Gator,” Graham wrote on Twitter. “… I’m proud to announce that I WILL BE COMMITTING TO THE UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA.”

Through Graham is not highly rated, the athleticism of the 5-foot-9, 171-pounder should give the Gators plenty of options once he joins the roster. Graham committed to Florida over Miami, continuing the Lakeland High School pipeline as UF added three players from that program in the last cycle.

The Gators have done a great job building their Class of 2020 over the last couple of months despite one high-profile pledge who decommitted just 22 days afterward.

Still, Florida has moved to No. 7 in the 247Sports Composite team rankings with six months until the early signing period and eight until National Signing Day. Graham is the 16th member of its Class of 2020.
