Tebow begins NFL career at Broncos minicamp

Former Florida Gators quarterback Tim Tebow made his debut as a professional with the Denver Broncos on Friday during the first day of the team’s rookie minicamp at its Dove Valley facility. He ran agility drills and threw about 20 passes to an equipment manager while head coach Josh McDaniels and quarterback coach Ben McDaniels (younger brother) looked on.

Local and national media watched every move the man in the orange No. 15 jersey made. Some (including ESPN) called his passes “tight and compact,” and most seem to agree that his throwing motion and delivery has been refined and sped up even more than it was weeks ago. However, there is still a bit of a hitch that must be smoothed out.

I still feel like hes going to walk back into the swamp and beat some ass. Just doesn’t feel like the Tebow era has come and gone. Whats your guesstimate on his contract?

5 years 37.5 million with 13 million gauranteed is my guess.

That would be a HUGE contract Donnie.

Last year’s last first-round QB got $26M and $10.25M guaranteed. The No. 25 pick got $10.25M and $7.35M guaranteed.

On the high end I think you are looking at $30M and $12M guaranteed.
On the low end I think you are looking at $25M and $10M guaranteed.

One way or the other it’s a pile of cash. And I don’t think that Tim’s gonna end up broke at the end of his career like alot of those other guys. Enjoyed the video clip, Tim’s looking like a real pro.
