2 » Florida football is set to have a bunch of big-name 2011 recruits on hand during spring practice this weekend. Rivals’ Mark Wheeler reports that athlete Sammy Watkins (Cape Coral, FL) [brother of four-star cornerback Jaylen Watkins], offensive linemen brothers Nathan and John Theus (Jacksonville, FL), defensive tackle Joel Hale (Greenwood, IN), offensive tackle Trip Thurman (Dover, DE) and quarterback Kevin Hogan (Washington, D.C.) will all be in attendance between Friday and Monday. The Gators’ biggest recruiting weekend of the spring will take place on April 10 during the Orange & Blue Debut spring game.

Tebow at the end of the first, you heard it here. Some team will trade up or the hoodie will snag him

    Mel Kiper 2007 quote:

“Jamarcus Russell’s gonna immediately energize that Raider Nation, that fanbase, that football team- on the practice field, in that locker room- three years from now you could be looking at a guy that’s certainly one of the elite top five quarterbacks in this league. You’re talking about a 2-3 year period once he’s under center. Look out because skill level that he has is certainly John Elway like.”

That was a number one pick for heaven sakes, jack@ss. Tebow’ll have a great shot to succeed whatever round he’s taken cause he works, like all the best do.

Tebow early second round, hopefully to a solid team, but probably not my Jags.

The Theus boys have been offered by everyone especially the you get one. Nathan is the best HS long snapper in the couuntry. Their John the rising junior will be one of the top tackles in the country ( seantrell Henderson good ). They have been FSU fans ( family ) but after dealing with Scott Lofler they are ready to be Gators and it ain’t close. The only problem is they are going to be together wherever they sign. South car. Is the only school to have offered both. So bottom line if UF offers Nathan , John will follow

This is a perfect example of how rumors get started. Theus boys have not been offered by everyone…yet, the only FSU fans in the family is Mom and John, everyone that offers IS close as they have no idea right now where they want to attend school. You did get 3 things right, the only school that has offered both is S. Car. but on different days, they would like to go to school together if possible and I also believe Nathan is the best HS long snapper and John the best HS tackle right now as a sophomore. It would be huge if John is one of the top tackles in the country but we will have to wait to see if that pans out.
