Corey Brewer slams it down on Robin Lopez

In case you have missed it, former Florida Gators guard/forward Corey Brewer is turning some heads in the NBA this season with his play for the Minnesota Timberwolves. In addition to posting career highs in field goal percentage (42.9), points (13.2), assists (2.3) and rebounds (3.7), Brewer has been a part of two ridiculous posterizing dunks, a buzzer-beater to force overtime (and one broken orbital bone) already this year. He did it again Tuesday, absolutely obliterating Robin Lopez of the Phoenix Suns on a breakaway dunk toward the end of the first half.

By the way, this was ESPN SportsCenter‘s Top Play:

  3. Malikg says:

The jury still seems to be out among top analysts about Brewer’s long-term future in the Association, but I’m certainly encouraged by this year’s progress, especially when you consider that this is only a year removed from ACL surgery…

  4. ZURBO says:

    corey brewer FROM?

  5. That’s the key, coming back from the ACL injury. He still has ups, and he’s having his best season yet. He may never be an All-Star, but if he can remain a productive starter for a decade, I’m sure he won’t complain one bit about that.

  6. Stuart says:

It’s a shame he plays for the Timberwolves. It should be noted they went on to lose that game 152 to 114…

  7. JIM says:

WILL COREY BREWER BE SELECTED FOR THE DUNK CONTEST NEXT YEAR?
