Florida continues upward climb in Top 25 polls

Following back-to-back home victories against a pair of Top 25 opponents last week, the Florida Gators (20-5, 9-2 SEC) capitalized with a dominant road win against the South Carolina Gamecocks (13-10, 4-6 SEC) on Wednesday and a nail-biter finish against the Tennessee Volunteers (15-10, 5-5 SEC) on Saturday. Florida now owns a 2.5-game lead in the Southeastern Conference East standings and is in first-place overall by a half game, part of the reason they continue to climb in the top 25 polls.

Not only are we a 3 seed, but we are #9 on his s-curve, would take very little to become a 2 seed, and who knows, if win out, an outside shot at a 1 seed, even with our losses to UCF and Jax

A 1 seed might be in the realm of possibility but I wouldn’t bet on it, even if we did some how win out. The highest I think we could realistically get is a 2.

We are slowly inching back to the top 10. Looks like the voters have stopped freaking out about those weird loses we had at the beginning of the season.
