  1. O-town Gator says:

There’s nothing controversial about a mother loving her son as far as I’m concerned.

  2. HotandBothered says:

Nothing wrong with that. Very classy although Pam seems a little ditsy.

  3. Mr2Bits says:

    Agreed

  4. O-town Gator says:

There wasn’t anything wrong with the second one where Pam gets tackled, either. As Shakespeare once said, “much ado about nothing”.

  5. Denver Gator says:

I am not partial to either side but I would say that Focus on the Family won this one. Seems like all of the controversial topics were gone over in the weeks before the game and the ad was actually pretty vanilla.

  6. UFGATORS says:

the only reason anyone had a problem with this add, was because Tebow was doing it. in everyone except gators, and gods eyes. he can do nothing right ; i hope he does good in the NFL . GO TEBOW, and GO GATORS

  7. Mr2Bits says:

I didn’t even see it to be honest. Etrade commercials took my vote.

  8. Brittany says:

I am VERY pro-choice and to be honest, I was a little worried about the ad. But after seeing it I think it’s hilarious that there was so much controversy. I still hate Focus on the Family though.

  9. brlgator says:

a lot of hype over nothing. they were geniuses they didnt even need to say what the commercial was about cause everyone already knew it from all the buzz. wow

  10. That and, if you’re interested, you just go to their Web site for the full story.

  11. Drew 4 Orange and Blue says:

If the pro-abortion advocates would have kept their mouths shut many probably wouldn’t have realized this was a pro-life message….instead they gave Focus on the Family many times the pub they would have ever gotten from this because of all the controversy….loved the ad and loved the message!!!!

  12. Gator-D says:

Wow all that talk for that……..People are stupid!

  13. Wingtee says:

Yea Brittany u hate Focus on the Family but you are all for the other crap that will degrade women , like go daddy.wake up !!!!!

Trying to promote a little decenesy in this world and u want to tear it down

  14. OK, I’m going to end this before it gets started.

    1) Drew – No one is “pro-abortion,” they are pro-choice.

    2) Drew – You are right, however, in your point that if no one got enraged about it the organization would have received a lot less publicity and the message may not have gotten across as well as they wanted. That is the genius behind doing a Super Bowl ad like this, so you have to give FotF some credit.

    3) Wingtree- Let’s not be attacking other commenters here. This is not a political Web site. She was just expressing her opinion of the ad coming from a contrary point-of-view.

    Everyone calm down.

  15. Lauren says:

Great Ad and Great Message. Loved it.

  16. Wingtee says:

Ok Adam, then I agrees with Lauren… Great ad, no problem
