The seventh editions of the regular season USA Today/ESPN and Associated Press Top 25 Polls were released on Monday, and the Syracuse Orange maintained their spot as the No. 1 team in the country for the third week in a row.

The Florida Gators moved up to No. 10 in both polls on the heels of consecutive blowout victories over Mississippi Valley State and Florida State. Florida is one of three Southeastern Conference teams listed in the respective rankings.

Additionally, Gators guard Brad Beal took home SEC Freshman of the Week honors for the second time in three weeks after posting 13 points and six rebounds as well as a team-high 21 points and six more boards in Florida’s two respective contests last week.
