For the second time in as many seasons, third time in the last four years and fifth time this century, the Florida Gators will go head-to-head with the Michigan Wolverines on the gridiron. It was announced Sunday that No. 10 Florida and No. 7 Michigan will square off in the 2018 Peach Bowl on Saturday, Dec. 29 in Atlanta.

The Gators are 0-4 all-time against the Wolverines with the teams meeting for the first time at the end of the 2002 season. Three of the four meetings between the teams have been in bowl games — all played in the Sunshine State. UF has been dominated by UM the last two times the teams squared off, losing those games by a combined 74-24. Prior to that, the results were much closer with Michigan beating Florida 38-30 in the 2003 Outback Bowl and 41-35 in the 2008 Capital One Bowl.

UF is 0-2 all-time in the Peach Bowl and will play in the game for the first time since 2004.

The Gators have opened as a seven-point underdog to the Wolverines with a total of 46 set for the game.
