The Florida Gators (10-2) were embarrassed at the hands of in-state rival Florida State on Saturday. As such, the Gators fell in the weekly top 25 rankings, checking in at No. 18 in the Associated Press Top 25 and No. 15 in the USA Today Coaches’ Poll.
Last week, the Gators were listed at No. 10 in the AP rankings and No. 9 in the USA Today poll. Florida now has 571 votes (-355) in the Week 12 AP rankings and 655 votes (-392) in the USA Today poll.
Florida, after being the fourth-ranked one-loss team two weeks ago, is now the 10th multi-loss team, behind Stanford, Notre Dame, Florida State, TCU, Baylor, Northwestern, Oklahoma State, Oregon, Ole Miss.

Seven SEC coaches will be voting in the coaches’ poll this season: Gus Malzahn (Auburn), Les Miles (LSU), Gary Pinkel (Missouri), Mark Richt (Georgia), Nick Saban (Alabama), Steve Spurrier (South Carolina), Kevin Sumlin (Texas A&M)
Miles, Richt, Saban and Spurrier all voted in 2013 and 2014 with Pinkel and Sumlin also voting in 2014.
