If Urban Meyer ever takes another job, I hope that it'll be the Athletic Director position at UF if Jeremy Foley ever decides to retire.

I am sure NBC has an idea of how many millions they are losing because the Irish are so awful.....yet here are the Gators in Gville setting up a dynasty...they have to be sick over it...so keep writing stories Meyer is leaving...it's wishful thinking...it's very easy seeing Meyer here another 15 years and probably winning another 3-4 NC's before it's over!!!!!! SOS will always have a special place in our hearts but Meyer has been the perfect fit to take us to new heights....I'll stop since it's starting to sound like another love fest!!!!

Coach Meyer was in the right place at the right time back in 2004 after Zook was fired, and IMHO he has turned the Florida football program around for the better. The atmosphere in the locker room is positive; it's a supportive environment for younger players as the older players are expected to mentor them instead of humiliate and haze them. Drew Miller once commented that under Meyer he felt as though he had a home away from home.

Urban Meyer belongs in Gainesville; I have a feeling that he had a soft spot for Florida all along, as was evident by the phone call he made to Shelley while he was at ND and by the way he describved having watched the Gators in action during the Spurrier era. I like to think that in a way, it was kismet - fate - that brought Meyer to Hoggetowne.

If Notre Dame decides it's in their best interest to let Charlie Weis go, they better realize that Urban Meyer is off-limits to them. That also applies to these morons in the media who don't know when to stop their nonsense.

While the kids enjoy the love and personal attention, it may even be more of a selling point for their parents, who want to make sure their children are in the hands of coaches who actually care for them and don't look at them just as their players.

Meyer and Tebow definitely have a bromance. With that being said, seeing Meyer care so much about his players would definitely aspire other kids to play for such a coach. Meyer is not just a coach but a caring father figure which a good handful of these kids lack. Meyer continues to write his legacy each week.

Meyer is on top of the moutain right now....he would be crazy to leave...some think with Tebow and Spikes leaving there is a chance...they don't realize we are going to be really good next year and Meyer is on pace to bring in the best class he has ever had here!!!!

I'm glad Coach Meyer cleared up the Notre Dame rumors, I didn't think that there was much substance to the rumors to begin with but it's better that he just dismissed the rather than letting them linger until the off season. Also it's nice to see that Michael Guilford will be remembered on Senior day. And personally I love that Coach Meyer gets emotional when he talks aout his seniors, it's very sweet.

Why would any coach want the ND job? The only redeeming quality of South Bend is that it's a short drive to Chicago. The same applies to OSU, MICH, MICH State, PENN State and so on. People want to live in the Sunbelt. We have air conditioning and swimming pools, they have furnaces and Snuggies!

ND overplays the recruiting restriction angle to offset their lack of success over the last several years. ND needs to join a conference in order to begin to right that sinking ship. The game is passing them by, even as they cash the biggest checks in the NCAA. The Big East needs to drop ND for all sports if ND doesn't want to join the conference in football.
