It happened again.

With his team down three and the clock winding down late in the fourth quarter, Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow led his squad on a 12-play, 95-yard drive capped by his own 20-yard touchdown run to defeat the New York Jets at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Thursday night in Denver, CO.

It was the third time in his eight starts over the last two year that Tebow led Denver to a come-from-behind victory in the fourth quarter and his fourth win as the starting signal caller this season.

Tebow went 9/20 for 104 yards and rushed eight times for 68 yards and a touchdown on Thursday, improving to 4-1 as a starter in 2011 and 5-3 all-time when beginning a NFL game behind center. He accounted for 92 of 95 yards on the final drive.

In his five starts this year, Tebow is 52/115 (45.2 percent) through the air for 630 yards with six passing touchdowns and one interception. He has also run the ball 49 times for 351 yards and another score.

Tebow, as a NFL starter, has a career passing touchdown-to-interception ratio of 10-4 and career rushing touchdown-to-fumble ratio of 5-2.

Yes, Ryan, and I can’t but help think..”Watermelon, watermelon, rind…Look at the scoreboard, see who’s behind!” heh heh heh

That is the Timmy we know! Love that Elway stood up and clapped and for once looked genuinely happy.

    “All he does is win”

Good for you Timmy, I know there are plenty of haters out there, so it’s nice to see you winning even if it’s not always textbook

That was incredible last night. I credit Fox for letting him runs some plays that he can be successful with. Of all people Deion Sanders was one of the most supportive after the game. I would love to see the reaction of Jets fans to that touchdown…that has to burn. It was awesome to see Sanchez’s sacks where he go’s limp wristed and frail. Also that Von Miller kid is a stud.

It would just be nice if Fox didn’t always wait until the 4th quarter to open it up with him. 3 quarters of inceredibly conservative playcalling that netted about 80 yds total offense….finally they let him go and bam 96 yd touchdown drive..

True, but to runs plays that haven’t been used in the NFL in 30 years takes some balls. I agree they went away from it after the McGahee fumble, and started staying under center. I wonder if they did it because they didn’t trust the backs to run it right. You notice he was in an empty backfield for most of the last drive. I still can’t believe the Jets lost contain on the last blitz, but I’m glad they did.

I love underdog stories, and in the long run who CAN’T appreciate them? All I have to say to Tebow is; Tebow, people have been telling you that you “Can’t make it” and that you, “Don’t have it”. Well you prove them wrong Tebow, and you have my support through good or bad. (Though don’t let me down!) Because I love underdogs all the way! Roo-Ra!
