Solid win against Arkansas. The freshman rb Collins from Arkansas is a beast.

Our schedule is about to really get tough. A lot of road games against good teams. Murphy has been great but our offense still needs improvement. I still feel we lack explosive plays offensively and especially in the running game.

Matt Jones is a stiff north-south back and Mack Brown is very similar. But there is improvement in our offense with Murphy at the helm and that gives the Gator Nation faith.

You’ve got that right about Jones. And Collins. I don’t understand why we aren’t giving our 5 star freshman RB some touches to see if maybe he’s a beast too.

I’m surprised at how poorly Matt Jones still reads his blocking and misses open holes and cutbacks. From the little I’ve seen of Taylor, he seems more instinctive in that regard. More Emmitt Smith-like (I said “like”. . I’m not calling him Emmitt Smith).
