Former Florida Gators in the NFL: 2014 Week 4

The 2014 NFL regular season continued this week with 38 former Florida Gators spread out over 22 of the 32 teams in the league.

Eleven teams had multiple Florida players on their rosters including Miami (four); Philadelphia and Tampa Bay (three each); and Baltimore, Cincinnati, Denver, Indianapolis, Kansas City, N.Y. Jets, Pittsburgh and St. Louis (two each).

Below are full game statistics for all 23 players (13 starters^) that saw action along with select status and injury updates on some Gators during the fourth week of the regular season.

Eight players were on their bye week.

WR LOUIS MURPHY, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Six receptions for 99 yards (targets: 11, long: 41) [all team-highs]
» Murphy was signed by the Bucs early last week and played in his first game of the season. He had a clutch 41-yard reception that set-up a game-winning touchdown.

    All I know is that if Tebow had the stats that Geno Smith had last week, then ESPN would be running every incomplete pass on a loop and geniuses like Merril Hoge would be laughing hysterically at the notion that Tim would even dare to try to play NFL QB.

    I will forever pull for anyone playing against any Rex Ryan coached team for the raw deal Tebow got in NY.
