Why are we being dropped in polls after we win,, when clearly we have the top defense in college football? I thought defense win championships

  2. GatorGrad98 says:

My bet is because we lost Jeff… where we are now doesnt matter as long as the team rallies behind Tyler heading into our games against GA, LSU, SC… GO GATORS!!!

  3. Alex says:

    Because UT is terrible

  4. Ken (CA) says:

if you notice, we gained points in both polls, other teams just gained more to jump us

  5. Matt Burris says:

After Driskel went down, I was thinking during a commercial break that we’d be lucky to stay in the Top 25. I suppose Murphy’s handling of the game helped a bit to keep us from dropping out.

    • Michael Jones says:

Do you? Do you suppose that?

Murphy played a super game with very little preparation. He was decisive, calm under pressure, had a feel in the pocket, maintained his composure, competed, and executed. Looking forward to seeing how he does with a week’s preparation.

I like Driskel. Don’t understand how a guy that talented has regressed as much as he has this year. Looked like a deer in headlights against Miami and the short time he was in yesterday.

      • Gatorgrad79 says:

Agreed MJ. Sadly Driskel may have the better skills on paper, but it’s pretty obvious his confidence is shaken, and once his head is crowed with doubts, it becomes contagious until the team contracts the dreaded lack of confidence disease. I thought you could see the whole offense gaining in belief and settling in series by series after Murphy went in. That is an intangible that cannot be underestimated and won’t show up in the polls until it results in some quality wins. That likely won’t be until after several more SEC wins. Don’t expect any upward movement even if we beat UK by 20 or more because they are more hapless than Tn…Would love to see what Murphy does with all the first string receivers in the game!

  6. grant says:

unfortunately, we didn’t hold tennessee to 7 points like the graphic says. it was still nice to put up 31 ponts!

  7. Joe A. says:

Good luck Driskel, I hate it for you man.

Brissett, mwah-mwah-mwah… “You have chosen poorly.”

Tyler… I’m absolutely stoked! ALL IN!!! Where’s my #3 jersey?

A little premature? Maybe. But I saw it in him… I believe!

    GO GATORS!!!
