Former Florida Gators in the NFL: Breakdown of 2015 preseason Weeks 1 and 2

The 2015 NFL preseason began two weeks ago with 48 former Florida Gators spread out over 23 of the 32 teams in the league.

Sixteen teams had multiple Florida players on their rosters including Denver, Miami, Philadelphia and Washington (four each); Pittsburgh (three); and Arizona, Baltimore, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Dallas, Jacksonville, Kansas City, Minnesota, Oakland, St. Louis and Tampa Bay (two each).

Below are full updates all 48 players on NFL rosters, most of whom saw action over the first two weeks of the preseason. There are also select injury and status updates on some other Gators below.

ARIZONA CARDINALS

OG Jon Halapio: Played as a reserve
OT D.J. Humphries*: Started at right tackle
» Humphries has been demoted to second-string left tackle after being widely criticized for his inconsistent play in games and effort in practices. Head coach Bruce Arians has been especially critical of Humphries.

BALTIMORE RAVENS

C/G Max Garcia*: Started at left guard
» Garcia will likely wind up playing a reserve role for the Broncos to open the season. He is playing multiple positions on the offensive line, just as he did at Florida, but is a rookie amongst talented veterans.
LB Lerentee McCray: Played as a reserve
WR Solomon Patton: Played as a reserve
» Patton has received praise for his work in training camp but has yet to translate that to the field in preseason games.
