The Florida Gators did not add to their growing Class of 2018 following Friday Night Lights, but they did pick up another piece for their No. 1-ranked Class of 2019.

Offensive lineman Wardrick Wilson (Miami, FL) committed to Florida on Friday despite it being quite early in his recruitment. His short offer list includes Kentucky, Mississippi State and South Florida.

“Proud to say I am a Florida Gator! #GATA19” Wilson tweeted.

Wilson (6-foot-4, 295 pounds) was recruited by defensive coordinator Randy Shannon out of his alma mater of Norland High School.

The Gators have the top-ranked class for 2019 per the 247Sports Team Rankings with 10 commitments including six four-star prospects and three unrated recruits, two of whom may receive four-star ratings when properly evaluated.
