Gators add commitment No. 15 in OL Dillard

The Florida Gators received their fourth commitment since Saturday’s 2012 Orange & Blue Debut as three-star offensive lineman Cameron Dillard (Canton, MI) pledged on Monday to wear the orange and blue in 2013.

The No. 13-ranked guard in the nation according to Rivals.com, Dillard chose Florida despite claiming 21 offers from schools including Arkansas, Clemson, Florida State, Missouri, Virginia Tech and Washington among others.

He told Rivals on March 30 that there were four factors in his recruitment that mattered the most: “Like I’ve always said, it’s the three As: the academics, the athletics and the atmosphere. Obviously the depth chart makes a big difference as well.”

At 6’3” and 285 lbs., Dillard is a member of the ESPNU 150 watch list and may only see his stock increase now that he has committed to the Gators. He is Florida’s third three-star offensive lineman commit for 2013, joining Josh Outlaw (Lithonia, GA) and Roderick Johnson (Delray Beach, FL) as UF pledges.

Dillard’s commitment was first reported by Scout.com.
