  1. Broward Gator says:

I have lived in South Florida for 50 years and UF has the worst South Florida presence of the “Big 3”

How can they refuse to send Coaches to Miami-Dade and Broward??

Stupid! Yet Jimbo’s down here, and Mark Richt is down here, but we can’t send down anyone?

And Coach can’t make it to Palm Beach???

    • It’s strange that none of the actual on-field coaches are going down to South Florida, but generally they visit Broward or Palm Beach every other year.

      • Broward Gator says:

Thank you Adam. From my point of view the “every other year” attitude towards South Florida is a big part of why we run last place down here and aren’t very involved and engaged in the community!

I’ve heard a lot about Coach Mac’s commitment to South Florida recruiting, and they have signed more South Florida players lately, but still he needs to be down here much more often–forget the fan fest (even though he would get additional local newspaper coverage were he in town) he should be all over historically proven top recruiting areas in the country such as Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach.

Every other year isn’t good enough!
