Three-star defensive end Keivonnis Davis flips to Florida from Oregon State on signing day

Despite noting earlier in the day that he would not be making a commitment on National Signing Day, three-star defensive end Keivonnis Davis (Miami, FL) submitted a National Letter of Intent to the Florida Gators.

Davis, an Oregon State commitment until the moment his letter was faxed into Florida, is a 6-foot-4, 227 pound lineman rated as the 58th best defensive end in the nation by the 247Sports Composite.

He was recruited by Gators defensive line coach Terrell Williams and linebackers coach Randy Shannon, who has done a great job adding talented players out of South Florida over the last two weeks.

Davis is the 17th member of the Gators’ 2015 recruiting class and the third player to make a pledge to Florida already on signing day. He is also the fifth South Florida player to commit to the Gators during this recent stretch.
