The Florida Gators officially announced on Friday that junior safety Will Hill has decided to forgo his final year of eligibility and declare for the 2011 NFL Draft.

OGGOA first reported Hill’s decision on Jan. 5.

“Although I didn’t have a chance to coach Will Hill, we certainly wish him the best of luck in the NFL,’’ head coach Will Muschamp said in a statement. “Like all of our players, we hope he understands the value of his education and returns to get his degree.”
